The day to day operation of the Oakleaf Group will be the responsibility of the Chief Executive, Ian Mosley and the Registered General Manager, Kathy Swannell.
The Chief Executive is supernumerary to establishment and will ensure that the service is able to meet the needs of its residents and operates in full accordance with all regulatory needs.
A key worker approach to care will be implemented to ensure an effective, consistent and accountable care package. Care staff will be given full management support, supervision and direction. The Oakleaf Group is committed to the training, development and educational needs of all their staff.
A team of administrative, catering, domestic and maintenance personnel will be under instruction from management to meet the home's non-nursing needs. Consultants are in place to offer assessment, implementation and review of specific therapies to include, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy. All pre-admission assessment costs will be met by Oakleaf and assessments will be undertaken by qualified professionals within 2 weeks of referral.
With the emphasis being on enhancing quality of life and re-integration into the community, the Oakleaf Group supplies appropriate transport, which allows care staff to facilitate the easy transportation of residents. In addition, a social/leisure budget is available. A flexible approach to staff working hours is adopted which enables the team to offer a generous social programme to residents.
